A Relaxation Through Verse Celebration of International Women’s Day

Join us as we celebrate the women in our lives and throughout history through Poetry by the Caribbean Nightingale, Chelsea Guevara, and Alexis Perno, and Music by Pepper Rose and Mel Soul & The Messenger.

For this edition of Relaxation Through Verse poetry salon, we are holding a special Coffee Tasting with the cast to highlight our Gourmet Coffees recently launched in our Poetry Cafe. Our signature coffees, "My African Chocolate", "Black Girl Magic", and "Black Joy" (decaf), are intended to promote and uplift Black Voices. "My African Chocolate" is also named after the famed poem by Michaelle Martial aka The Caribbean Nightingale by the same title.

When you attend Relaxation Through Verse and buy from our shop, you're making a difference in the lives of marginalized Artists and Artisans, specifically Black, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ artists. Your donations will help with our goal of donating up to 50% of the event's proceeds to a local Domestic Violence Shelter.
