ABOUT POET:
Michaëlle Martial is a Haitian-born Author, Narrative Consultant, and Spoken Word Artist known as the Caribbean Nightingale Poet.
She has had TV/Radio interviews as well as poetry performances nationally and internationally. She has self-published two books of poetry in her series ‘Journal of the Caribbean Nightingale’. In addition, Michaëlle has published in the Rock Canyon Poets’ Orogeny: Volume 1. Michaëlle’s work focuses on empowerment of women and minorities through the arts along with the practice of self-care.
